General Information

The landscape of Mexico consistsof mountain ranges and dissected plateaux. As much of the land is above 500 meters temperature and rainfall are modified. The north is arid as opposed to the south which is tropical and humid. The population has outstripped food production and many Mexicans have moved to the cities.Minerals, especially silver, uranium and gold, are the main source of Mexico's wealth. The main exports are crude oil, and machinery.
